It is recommended that you plan your design, paint and aging before you start to build. For example, the photo of the Ice Box above is stained. We assembled and then stained. In the option of painting multiple colors, it is advised to paint before you assemble.
HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS
Wood thickness: 1/16 Inch (Basswood, Plywood or Balsa). The type of wood should be sturdy enough to last. The softer the wood the gentler you will need to be with building the stove and will determine how long the finished product will last. Sand all outside Corners.
Glue: Tacky Glue is recommended.
Blocks: 1,2,3 blocks are helpful to keep build straight angled. Or any other tool you may normally use to keep your project straight.
Abbreviation R&P: R&P in these instructions, means to remove the specified part from the wood sheet carefully by cutting or punching the piece out from the front to the back of the wood sheet.
